It has been felt that there is a continuous demand of skilled manpower with quality training and on the other side large number of educated youth is striving hard for jobs, creating situation of "demand" on both sides with no supply leading to Socio-Economic crisis.

Crescent Community College intends to address this socio-economic problem with Community College. Community College is an alternate system of education which aims to empower individuals through appropriate skill development leading to gainful employment in collaboration with the local industry and the Community.

It helps in developing skills for employment and self employability particularly to the marginalized and underprivileged sections of the rural community.

Another major contribution of Community College would be to expand excess to Post Secondary studies for millions of students who would otherwise not have an opportunity to participate.
